It is rather small to 5 meters high and pinnate leaves can reach a meter in length.

Another attraction are the blooms coming out under the cap and when mature are deep red.

Ptychosperma macarthurii is ideal for a small garden in subtropical zone and as a houseplant.

Live better in shady area and needs fertile, well-drained soil.
