Encephalartos laurentianus

Encephalartos laurentianus plants arborescentes, they can arrive

until 15 m height, Y 100 cm diameter.

Leaves 400-700 cm long, dark green, very bright and

flat (without keel) in the section (opposite leaves on rachis), green colored branches,

slightly curved, a little lax; petiole straight, there are no leaves at the base and spines are present.

Leaflets do not overlap, they are not lobed, flat lanceolate margins;

very serrated top margin (more of 3 teeth);

medium leaves of 35-50 cm long, 40 -70 mm wide.

Of 2-6 breeding cones , ovoid, yellow.

Ovoid seeds, from 40-50 mm long, 25-30 mm wide, red sarcotesta.
