Dypsis carlsmithii

Dypsis carlsmithii This species has only been scientifically described

recently thanks to the joint efforts of John Dransfiel and Jeff Marcus.

It is a beautiful and majestic palm tree with a single trunk,

robust and smooth, and elegantly arched leaves, large and feathery.

It can be a magnificent specimen for a large garden.

or park and should lend itself very well to planting in

floods in the tropics or warm subtropical regions.
