Agave ovatifolia is a plant dream, this unique discovery
was introduced to horticulture by renowned Texan Lynn Lowery,
from Nuevo Leon, northeast of Mexico, where it grows into a small
mountainous area at the impressive altitude of 1100-2100m .
Agave expert José Villareal and the sick Greg Starr
they have formally described it.
The Agave ovatifolia plant will grow into a large plant
and solitary with broad greyish white leaves, slightly stable,
almost unreal, that form a dense rosette that can measure up to 2m wide.
in culture, adapts well to temperate climates.
Best of all, it not only resists drought and frost
very strong without being damaged, but also withstand cold and wet winters,
as long as it has good drainage, which makes it stand out from the rest of the agaves.
It is an essential plant for any agave fan.
